What is the value for the change maker?

You’ll develop a new set of partners to help you in the future, including the faculty, other talented change makers, various experts who attend as guest lecturers and potential funders. You’ll develop a more clear focus and be prepared to avoid costly mistakes. If you take it seriously, with an open heart and mind, you’ll advance as a leader and human being trying to make a difference.

What qualifications do you look for?

We look for people who have unique levels of energy, attention to detail and commitment to a real solution to the climate crisis. You need to have some momentum and evidence that other people think you can be successful. You need to be available for the whole program or prepared to send another member of your team in your absence.

How much does it cost?

Our goal is to make it free for the change maker, supported financially by one of our partners. But you need to be prepared to invest your time and energy, as you’ll get from the program what you give.

Can I participate with a partner or my team?

Yes, in fact you’re required to either bring a teammate or designate a back up for those programs you cannot attend. We generally avoid “solopreneurs.”

What climate solutions do you focus on?

We look for solutions where we can see a path to scalability, economic feasibility and meaningful impact for the planet.

Will I develop a business plan?

You should have a business plan and pitch coming into the program and be prepared to advance your thinking and plan over the course of the experience.

How much time will I spend outside of the course meetings?

That’s up to you. We know you’re busy working on your solution. Each week, we’ll suggest how you can prepare for the next meeting.
